Dancing Made Simple
We keep things simple, friendly and fun — with clear teaching, welcoming groups and plenty of chances to learn at your own pace (with a gentle nudge when needed). Whether you’re brand new or brushing up old skills, we’ve got a class that’ll fit just right.
And if you simply want a relaxed evening to dance, practise and sip Elaine’s legendary tea, our Friday Practice Night is waiting for you too.
Absolute Beginners
Never danced before? Perfect. If you’ve always suspected you were issued with two left feet at birth, don’t panic — this is exactly where you should start. We’ll ease you into the basics of the Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Quickstep, Tango and more, all taught at a steady, friendly pace with lots of recaps so nothing gets forgotten. Routines stay clean, simple and confidence-boosting — and yes, we fully expect the occasional giggle, misstep, or “sorry, wrong way!” moment. It’s part of the fun. Come along, relax, and discover that dancing is actually much easier (and far more enjoyable) than you think. Fareham: Monday & Wednesday • 7pm - Sunday • 6pm Eastleigh: Tuesday • 7.30pm
Beginners Plus
Ready to level up? Beginners Plus is perfect if you’ve completed Absolute Beginners or learned the basics elsewhere and can dance around the floor without needing an emergency tow-truck. Here, you’ll refine your technique, learn new dances and begin to stretch your skills with longer routines, cleaner footwork and a bit more detail. Nothing scary, nothing rushed — just that satisfying “ohhh, now it makes sense!” feeling as everything clicks into place. You’ll get variety, laughs, and a real sense of progress each week. Fareham: Wednesday • 8pm - Thursday (daytime) • 3pm - Thursday (evening) • 8pm Eastleigh: Tuesday (combined class) • 8.30pm
Improvers
For dancers who know their basics and want more - more technique, more challenge, more progression. All competent dancers from any school are welcome here. Improvers takes you deeper into style, control, footwork and floorcraft. You’ll learn more complex routines, polish your movement, and get the kind of instructor feedback that turns “I can do the steps” into “I actually look like I’m dancing.” The atmosphere is supportive, upbeat, and occasionally full of good-natured groans when a new routine lands… but don’t worry, we get you there! Fareham: Friday & Sunday • 7pm Eastleigh: Tuesday (combined class) • 8.30pm
Modern Sequence
If you enjoy structure, rhythm and the satisfaction of a routine that loops perfectly every 16 bars, Modern Sequence might just become your new obsession. Drawing from Ballroom and Latin foundations, each dance has its own set pattern - from the elegant White City Waltz to the lively Mambo Magic. It’s varied, stylish and brilliant for anyone who already has some dance experience and wants something fresh to sink their teeth into. We always recommend having a basic understanding of Ballroom & Latin before joining, but if you do, you’ll love it. Fareham: Monday • 8.15pm

Group Classes

Whether you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the very first time or you’re already gliding your way around it, our classes are built to help you progress with confidence and enjoy every minute along the way.
For newcomers, we make the basics feel simple, welcoming and genuinely fun. For experienced dancers, we offer structured classes that focus on technique, quality of movement and the kind of detail that really elevates your dancing — all without the ego or intensity you might find elsewhere.
Our groups move at a pace that suits the majority, with experienced helpers around to give you a boost if you need it (or to discreetly rescue you when your feet temporarily forget their purpose).
From beginners to seasoned dancers, everyone’s welcome — and everyone leaves a little better than they walked in.
