The Strictly ‘bug’ is sweeping the nation!

The Strictly ‘bug’ is sweeping the nation!

strictlybugAnd Dizzyfeet Dancing has just the tonic to cure those dancing ills!

The Strictly Bug Symptoms:
  • The inability to move from away from the TV on Saturday evenings at 6.55pm
  • An incredible urge to wear lycra and sequins
  • Find yourself humming “Da da da da da da daaaaaa da da da da da…” when you’re in the queue at Tesco
  • You pronounce the number 7, ‘seVEN’
  • You can no longer point with just one finger – all of them want to get involved
  • When something is really good, it’s suddenly FAB-U-LOUS. Dahling…

If you’re suffering from one or more of the symptoms above, then it’s important you come and see our specialist dance doctors at Dizzyfeet Dancing in either Southampton or Fareham.

Our clinics are open 3 times a week:
Sunday evenings at 6pm in Fareham
Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm in Southampton
Wednesday evenings at 8pm in Fareham

We expect the Strictly Bug epidemic to intensify over the coming weeks, culminating in a significant outbreak around Christmas time which will be quickly followed by severe withdrawals. In preparation for this we have set up 3 brand new dance clinics starting in the New Year. These clinics will run for 8 weeks, with early registration and booking essential. The cost of these courses will be £40 per person and we guarantee to cure you of all your Strictly bugs with simple and structured application of tuition in the Cha Cha Cha, Tango, Rumba and Quickstep.

Not only can we optimistically hope to satisfy your Strictly withdrawals but we certainly hope to bring a smile back to your face plus a healthy and happy start to the New Year!

Places are limited so if you wish to sign up to this remedial course, then please do get in touch at your earliest convenience! For more information, please take a look here.

    Hi,
Do you have any more spaces on the Absolute Beginners class in Fareham on a Sunday? We would be interested in booking the 8 weeks for £40 offer.
We are total beginners but we love Strictly. We have only ever danced twice at Centre Parcs where we had a salsa lesson!
    Many thanks
    Catherine

Hi, I live in netley abbey but don’t mind driving to any venue. My friend works shifts so we may have to change nights fairly regularly. Is that okay to do?

Hi Maureen. Not a problem – each of our Absolute Beginner classes cover the same dance and same steps each week so changing nights week to week shouldn’t cause you any issues. Our £40 offer is however only applicable to a specific class each week and so you would need to pay as you go for each class.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any more questions!
We look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
      Best wishes,
      The Dizzyfeet Team

      Hi Nicola
Unfortunately our classes only stretch as far as Townhill Park in Southampton and Downend Road in Fareham.
As far as I know, there aren’t any Ballroom & Latin classes running in the Totton/Waterside area at present I’m afraid. You would be most welcome to join our classes in Southampton on a Tuesday evening, along with other dancers that travel from a similar area to yourself.
If you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Hello Caroline – thank you for your comment on our website.

You most certainly don’t need a partner to attend our classes. We almost always have helpers in class to dance with you, plus there are other single dancers that attend too, that you could dance with. The teacher also rotates themselves around the single dancers too, so you won’t have to dance alone!

We would be very happy to register you for our Tuesday classes. If you wanted to take advantage of the £40 for 8 weeks offer we do require payment prior to the start of the class which can either be via cash or cheque on the day or a banking payment beforehand. Alternatively you can simply pay £6 per week.

Please let us know what you would like to do and we can then get you registered onto the class!

      Best regards,
      James & Kelly Prouton

You would be most welcome to join our Tuesday night classes in Southampton and we can certainly get you enrolled. Classes cost £6 per week, or alternatively you can pay in advance and get all 8 weeks for the discounted price of £40. Unfortunately we don’t have card payment facilities but you can pay by bank transfer, cash or cheque right up until the day of the class.
Please take a look at our ‘Southampton’ location page which shows a map of where our Tuesday night classes take place.

You would most certainly be welcome to come along to our Wednesday classes in Fareham. Don’t worry that you haven’t got a partner as we have a number of single dancers attending all of our classes. We are often able to partner people up, or supply helpers to dance with you. Hello Joss, thank you for your message.

We certainly do have space in our Sunday Absolute Beginner classes.
All of our new classes for 2017 are pay as you go, so you can come along when you like and pay £6 per person, per week. However should you wish to sign up and pay in advance, you can get 8 weeks of classes for £40 per person (£8 saving each). We can take payment by cash or cheque to us in person up until the day of the first class (on the night is fine) or beforehand via a banking payment.

Once you let me know whether you’d like to pay per week or upfront, I can then send you a confirmation of your registration which includes a schedule of the dances we will be covering.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you wish to have any more information and we look forward to seeing you soon.

      Festive wishes,
      James & Kelly

Hi Des, thank you for your message.
At present we only have one class a week in the Southampton area for Absolute Beginners. This is held every Tuesday evening at Townhill Junior School on Benhams Road, in Townhill Park, near Bitterne. The class starts at 7.30pm and runs for one hour, costing £6 per person, per week.

In addition to this we also have two classes running at our Fareham location on Sunday evenings at 6pm and Wednesday evenings at 8pm. These classes are also £6 per person, per week and run for one hour.

Should you wish to sign up to any of our January courses we are offering a discount if you pay upfront for the 8 weeks, with the whole course costing £40 per person. Please do get in touch if you’d like more information or if you’d like to join the classes that start from this coming Sunday.
      Best wishes,
      James & Kelly
